DBS&A is honored with a 2022 @National Ground Water Association Outstanding Groundwater Supply Project Award for the Hopi CARES Water Supply Project. DBS&A worked together with the @Hopi Utilities Corporation to complete four new water supply wells and install six new pumping systems, meeting the Hopi community’s long-time need for a high quality, reliable water supply, in critical locations.

On behalf of the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) and the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish, DBS&A developed the New Mexico Wildlife Corridors Action Plan (Action Plan). The Action Plan will help reduce wildlife-vehicle collisions and enhance wildlife habitat linkages across all of New Mexico.

Hydrogeologist Amy Ewing, PG, was the recipient of the 2022 Outstanding Member award at the American Council of Engineering Companies New Mexico Annual Gala on April 22, 2022. Amy is the Chair of the ACEC New Mexico Office of the State Engineer/Interstate Stream Commission liaison committee, which endeavors to provide private sector support to the agency.
